General Rules For Submitting Abstracts
- Abstracts MUST be submitted online using the “Abstract Submission” link, other forms of submission WILL NOT be accepted, including email
- 200 to 500 words in length
- Give description of completed work or work in progress. Reviewers are looking for:
- the rationale behind the study
- general approach to the problem
- pertinent results
- important conclusions or new questions
- It is the author’s responsibility to obtain all necessary approvals and releases as abstracts MUST BE UNCLASSIFIED, PUBLIC RELEASABLE and NON- PROPRIETARY
Rating Criteria for Abstracts
- Abstracts will be reviewed using the following criteria:
- Relevance: Easily relates to subject and track areas
- Clarity: Clearly imparts the idea / thrust of subject to an audience at the first reading.
- Contribution: The paper clearly contributes to the conference, will likely draw an
audience, and present information that will be considered valuable
ACCEPTANCE OF AN ABSTRACT DOES NOT EXEMPT THE AUTHOR FROM PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEES
