About Submitting A Training Course
Training courses have become an extremely valuable and popular component to the AA&S Conference sharing knowledge on relevant issues with attendees. Agenda time allocated for training sessions is up to 4 hours. Training course requirements are as follows:
- Training Course abstracts MUST be submitted online using the “Training Submission” link, other forms of submission WILL NOT be accepted, including email
- Submissions will require the following:
- Title of Training Course
- Course Instructor name and contact information
- Training Course description

Relevance of training to the AA&S community
- Inherent value of training
- Practical application of training provided
- Training Course length
- Certification provided at completion
ALL ABSTRACTS MUST BE UNCLASSIFIED, PUBLIC RELEASABLE AND NON-PROPRIETARY
What Iis Required Iif My Training Course Iis Selected?
Training Course Submitters whose abstracts are accepted for presentation will be notified on December 18, 2009 and are expected to fulfill the following requirements:
• Supply training course description to be linked to online Agenda in January 2010
• Name(s) and contact information of instructor(s)
• Training Course must occur at the time scheduled by the Conference Committee
• Certificates of Completion are encouraged and Conference Committee will work with
the Instructor on the creation and distribution of these to the training attendees
• Instructor(s) MUST register and pay the associated registration fees for the Conference
ALL TRAINING COURSES AT THE CONFERENCE WILL UTILIZE AN LCD PROJECTION AND COMPUTER WITH POWERPOINT INSTALLED. USE OF PERSONAL LAPTOPS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR PRESENTATION.
