The traditional annual Shotgun Golf Outing will take place on Monday, May 10th at the ShadowGlen Golf Club in Austin, Texas. ShadowGlenn Golf Club opened in the Fall of 2003 and by January 2004 was already recognized by Golf Digest Magazine as one of the Top Ten Best New Courses in America. ShadowGlenn is recognized for its challenging and picturesque layout.

The Shotgun Golf Outing Event Fee is $50 per person and includes:
• Green fees
• Cart with GPS scoring, driving range privileges and Scoreboard
• Boxed lunch at the end of the event

Participation is limited and space availability is on a first-come, first-filled basis, with fees required to be prepaid at the time of registration. All golf registrations must be done no later than April 23, 2010. Your earliest possible response is encouraged to ensure tournament preparations. The first 52 paid responses will be accepted.

To participate, indicate on the attendee registration form, under the “Optional Events” section, your intent. Also, include your established handicap or, if none is established, include your normal score for 18 holes. If you have already formed a team, please list the other members’ names on the form. (Please make sure you have notified these members that you are including them on your team.) Players on your pre-formed team need to submit an individual registration form along with their payment.

All participants will be emailed a confirmation of participation, as well as details regarding course location/directions and final outing arrangements.

Please Note:
• Club rentals are available for $35 per round
• Golfers will need to provide their own transportation to the course

A spouse/guest “Welcome Tea” is scheduled for Monday, May 11th from 2:30-3:30 PM at The Hilton Austin Hotel. The Austin City Convention & Visitors Bureau will give an overview of Austin and highlight the many awe-inspiring sites found in the area. Please plan to join us for informative fun and light refreshments.

This is going to be FUN! Join us for a day at the Whole Foods Market Culinary Center. We will depart from the Hilton Austin Hotel lobby to the Whole Foods Market in Austin, Corporate Headquarters for the Whole Foods Market industry. First, we will have an informative and entertaining tour by a tour guide at Whole Foods explaining all of the amazing features and departments of the Market and their company philosophy.

After our tour of the Whole Foods Market, we will go upstairs to the Culinary Center where we will prepare a variety of items in one of the demonstration kitchens. We will learn preparation techniques and tips as a chef instructor prepares the entire meal in front of our class. We will dine on our food creations as they are prepared as well as sample wine throughout this 2-hour class.

At the conclusion of the Cooking Class, you can wander through the expansive Whole Foods Market Store by yourself or in a group and browse through all of the amazing foods and departments. At 2:45 PM we will meet at the motor coach for our return to the Hilton Hotel.
