A spouse/guest “Welcome Tea” is scheduled for Monday, May 11th from 2:30-3:30 PM at The Hilton Austin Hotel. The Austin City Convention & Visitors Bureau will give an overview of Austin and highlight the many awe-inspiring sites found in the area. Please plan to join us for informative fun and light refreshments.

This is going to be FUN! Join us for a day at the Whole Foods Market Culinary Center. We will depart from the Hilton Austin Hotel lobby to the Whole Foods Market in Austin, Corporate Headquarters for the Whole Foods Market industry. First, we will have an informative and entertaining tour by a tour guide at Whole Foods explaining all of the amazing features and departments of the Market and their company philosophy.

After our tour of the Whole Foods Market, we will go upstairs to the Culinary Center where we will prepare a variety of items in one of the demonstration kitchens. We will learn preparation techniques and tips as a chef instructor prepares the entire meal in front of our class. We will dine on our food creations as they are prepared as well as sample wine throughout this 2-hour class.

At the conclusion of the Cooking Class, you can wander through the expansive Whole Foods Market Store by yourself or in a group and browse through all of the amazing foods and departments. At 2:45 PM we will meet at the motor coach for our return to the Hilton Hotel.
